The tree of life is nourished by the eternal waters of life, it grows by the spirit while its kindled by love’s warming rays.
The tree of life can be seen everywhere and in everything. It can be found in a seed breaking into a bloom, in the play of rays from the sun, but its existence is above all shown in a genuine smile or a gesture of care flowing from a pure heart.
The tree of life sprouts everywhere. Its eternal flux resurrects from the inexistent to the eternal and all that exists in between.
The tree of life sprouts from the stream of life that is the vein of all life that is also the vein flowing from a pure heart.
Whenever we look for what’s alive in life from that vein of life, then the tree of life grows in us from the pure waters that flow from the wells of our hearts. The water of life branches its reviving streams to even our smallest veins, resurrecting in us and through us the tree of all living things.
Whenever we look for what’s alive then the tree of life branches out in us. Its streams nourish us wherever and whenever we bring the fruits of its nourishment.
But we can also be painfully aware that there is also another tree in us. What tree we strongest belong to is easy to see by looking at our river, by seeing what it brings. Our thoughts and emotions pass by on it like chunks of debris. They flow into the the raging seas of our lives when we act on them, while they dissolve when we don’t. Of what tree we are mostly made shows also through our spontaneous (re)actions that either bring care and healing, or venomous spears and fangs that seek to poison with a destructive vermin.
To see how much of us belong to our self (pre)serving tree is an uncomfortable realization, but there are two comforts greater than any of those discomforts.all
- We can only learn by discernment, so we also need that tree to look at and to learn from. We can only find strength when we dare to stare into our own abyss.
- There is no vermin or poison that the healing vein of all life can’t wash away.
We can find the vein of life everywhere where harmony and love are the rulers, while we leave everything else (that is the rest) to rest. When we start looking then we will find it everywhere, but we will find it above all there where love and care exchange between our hearts, so that’s a place where we all can start looking.
When we purify the waters of our lives by leaving the debris of our thoughts and emotions alone, then our tree of life will grow in us from its pure and eternal seed in the garden of undivided being.
We all are in our essence an organic part of that same tree of life to which everyone and every living thing belongs.
We are out of its waters that nourish us, we are out of its spirit that moves and strengthens us, and we are out of its loving warming rays that will always lead us home and place us in the garden to which we all ultimately belong.
